Before joining ChinaVest, Mr. Tao served as Director and Senior Assistant to the CEO of the Asset Management Department at Long March Launch Vehicle Technology Company in Beijing. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of the Private Equity Department of China Eagle Asset Management Co., Ltd. in Shanghai.

Mr. Tao received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Japanese from Beijing Foreign Studies University and an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In addition to fluency in Chinese and English, he is also fluent in Japanese.
