Mr. Zhao's career spans both China and United States as a senior executive in Fortune 500 manufacturing companies.

He most recently served as Managing Director, Asia Pacific for Goodyear Corporation's Engineered Products Division, with worldwide sales of US$1.6 billion. Mr. Zhao was responsible for Goodyear's entire division, including P&L management, factories in Qingdao, China and Melbourne, Australia. He was also responsible for sales and marketing efforts in Japan, Korea, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and China. Prior this position, he was the senior executive of a Chinese manufacturing company with US$300 million in sales of industrial and automotive products and over 13,000 employees. Before that he held the position of general manager of a European automotive electronic switch company located in Shanghai. Mr. Zhao received his Bachelor of Science degree at Sichuan University, his PhD from University of Houston, and his MBA from University of Chicago.
