Mr. Cheng joined ChinaVest from Strategic Analysis Corporation (SAC), a Toronto-based investment consulting firm. At SAC, he participated in M&A advisory and corporate restructuring projects for Manitoba Telecom and Air Canada. Prior to SAC, Mr Cheng worked for CIBC Mellon as a Fund Specialist which required extensive practices of financial valuation, and accounting due diligence.

Mr. Cheng holds a BA degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and studied at Queen’s University (Canada). Mr. Cheng also holds a CFA charter.
